Established barely 13 years ago, the Spokane Mudhens Fastpitch organization has quickly earned a great reputation for developing true STUDENT-ATHLETES, who are excited about Fastpitch Softball.  This year we will field several teams to compete in local, regional and national tournaments.

Our growing reputation speaks for itself.  Every graduating senior in our program has earned the opportunity to continue their playing careers at the next level.  Our alumni are joining reputable softball programs like North Idaho College, University of Illinois – Chicago, Whitworth University, Northwest University, Linfield  College, Bradley University, Utah State University,  University of Montana, Daytona State College, Central Washington University and Western Oregon University (please see our Alumni at http://www.spokanemudhens.com/alumni).  The vast majority of our student-athletes have had multiple colleges to pick from.

Our teams have competed at some of the best exposure tournaments around, including the TCS Colorado Fireworks/Sparklers in Denver, CO, the Valley Invitational in Beaverton, OR, the TCS City of Lights in Houston, TX, TCS Fall Showcase in Phoenix, AZ, the Surf City Tournaments in Huntington Beach, CA, the USA Preps in Pasco, WA, and the TCS World Series in Reno, NV, among others.

While competition and success is always the goal, the attention to detail, instruction of fundamentals, and emphasis on effort and attitude is consistent throughout the Mudhens organization. That being stated, we are now looking to perpetuate our track record with our next generation of student athletes.

We look forward to seeing you there!

Great KIDS, Great STUDENTS, Great ATHLETES, Great PLAYERS, Great PARENTS

Founded in 2010 by Jon Schuh and Octavio Morales, and quickly endorsed and supported by Matt Connor and John Smith, the Spokane Mudhens seek true STUDENT-ATHLETES, and players who are equally passionate about excellence in the classroom as on the softball field.  Our objectives are to continue to build and develop the skills required to excel at the highest competitive level, by living and breathing the following core values:

  • Commitment: Unwavering buy in, belief, dedication, and pursuit of team goals
  • Leadership: Take the initiative – show your commitment
  • Teamwork: Work together, without boundaries, to achieve perfection
  • Integrity: Honest work ethic – prepare, anticipate, and do the right things
  • Excellence: Do things right!

Together we are building on a solid STUDENT-ATHLETE foundation, one year at a time, to assist these young ladies in their quest for excellence, on and off the field.

Great KIDS, Great STUDENTS, Great ATHLETES, Great PLAYERS, Great PARENTS!
